Casa Mobile Kentucky Derby Hat Fundraiser

Be ready for the next Mardi Gras or Kentucky Derby Party or indeed anywhere that you want to look stunning! We are excited to let you know about our fundraiser for CASA Mobile and this wonderful opportunity to own this beautiful hat designed and handmade by Mobile’s premier milliner Valerie Case of Rua Flores Inspired Hats who has once again kindly donated one of her unique creations to CASA Mobile.

This romantic saucer style hat was inspired by the classic femininity of the hats designed for the Downton Abbey films. Hand created in a fine cream sinamay straw, it is embellished with tulle, French silk ribbon, a loop of silk abaca, a cluster of golden silk roses and a natural feather. It attaches with a headband and comb. Value- $350

For a donation of just $20 you can enter the CASA Drawing that will be held during our Hats and Horses Kentucky Derby event that will take place on May 2nd at the Country Club of Mobile at 2pm. This is a fun occasion and a chance to spend an exciting afternoon watching the races while supporting an incredibly worthy cause.

However, if you cannot make the event, you still have a chance to own this stunning hat. Just click the button below and purchase your tickets.  If you are the winning ticket a CASA board member will contact you to arrange pick up/delivery as needed.  There is no limit to the number of donations you can make and we ask for your generosity.  

CASA Mobile (the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program) is a volunteer program that has been providing services to some of the most vulnerable children in our community with our highly trained volunteer advocates for almost 29 years, providing a voice to abused and neglected children caught up in the court welfare system.  Our volunteers have helped hundreds of Mobile community children live in safe loving permanent homes.
