A huge thank-you to all the friends, donors and guests who turned out for our 9th Annual Hats & Horses Kentucky Derby Gala on Saturday May 2, at the Country Club of Mobile.

We sold more tickets this year than ever before and our many guests enjoyed an afternoon of fun and entertainment. Guests savored delicious food and sipped on delightful wines and  Mint Juleps as they watched the Kentucky Derby Races and bid on some wonderful items at the Silent Auction. We had outstanding winners for our Best Hat competition and our Dapper Man contest..  

Following a short program describing the work of the CASA Mobile Program a special thank-you to Judge George Hardesty who gave a compelling talk about the importance of CASA in making a difference in children’s lives, Particular thanks as always to our Volunteer Advocates who work tirelessly with some of  the most vulnerable children in our community helping to try and change their story one child at a time.

We would also like to send a huge thank-you to all of our sponsors who made this event possible and helped CASA Mobile raise significant funds These funds will allow us serve additional abused and neglected children caught up in the child welfare system through no fault of their own.

Because of the  generosity of our donors and sponsors , CASA is going strong, accomplishing its mission of changing children’s lives and strengthening our community.
