We are excited to let you know about our fundraiser for CASA Mobile and wonderful opportunity to own this beautiful hat designed and handmade by Mobile’s premier milliner Valerie Case of Rua Flores Inspired Hats who has once again kindly donated one of her unique creations to CASA Mobile.

This is a chance to own this fabulous custom made “hatinator” which sits at an angle using headband and comb.  The hat is hand blocked in sinamay straw and finished with hand-made and stiched binding. It is embellished with a hand shaped fan of jinsin straw, red feather flowers and long stems of hand cut feathers.  Retail value is $400.

For a donation of just $20 you can enter the CASA Drawdown that will be held at the Magnolia Grove Club House on May 3rd at our Hats and Horses Kentucky Derby event that will take place at 2pm.  This is a fun occasion and a chance to spend an exciting afternoon watching the races while supporting an incredibly worthy cause.

However, if you cannot make the event, you still have a chance to own this stunning hat.  A CASA board member will contact you to arrange pick up/delivery if necessary.  There is no limit to the number of donations you can make and we ask for your generosity.  

CASA Mobile (the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program) is a volunteer program that has been providing services to some of the most vulnerable children in our community with our highly trained volunteer advocates for almost 28 years, providing a voice to abused and neglected children caught up in the court welfare system.  Our volunteers have helped hundreds of Mobile community children live in safe loving permanent homes.
